22 weeks, 4 days

Well, we had another appointment today to see the doctor and have another ultrasound. The girls are both doing well and right on schedule. They both weigh in at approximately 1 lb, 1 oz. Kate is head down and will probably be delivered first and had a heart rate of 135 bpm today and Olivia is head up with a heart rate of 145 bpm. With one head up and one head down, they are playing havoc on my insides with one constantly kicking me in the ribs and one dancing on my bladder!

Everything looks good and the doctor said to continue on with daily activity as normal, which was good news with wedding season about to explode at work! We go back in 4 weeks and will have another ultrasound to check the babies growth and such, and then will start our visits every 2 weeks.

The doctor did say today that they will not let me go past 38 weeks, which moves our "due date" to July 26th. After our next visit, which puts us close to the 30 week mark, they will start to monitor the babies closely to make sure they are still growing at an even pace and that there are no signs of preterm labor.
