31 weeks, 2 days

Well, I saw Dr. Clark today, who is the high risk doctor in the practice. She said everything looks great and couldn't be more pleased with my progress!! Hip hip hooray...still no bed rest!! She was even surprised that I was not experiencing more contractions than I am. She was pleased with the growth rate of the girls and my size and says we are great candidates for a natural delivery...as long as Kate stays presenting!!!! She ordered another visit for 2 weeks and another ultrasound in 3.
I went in with an entire page full of questions that she was eager to answer. She basically told me what I expected to hear, so as of now, our birth plan stays the same. She doesn't expect to see me in labor until at least the 35th-36th week, if not further. That was very reassuring.
Well, I took a 1/2 day at work yesterday and came home to work on the upstairs in full force again, now that we have AC back on in the house. I made great progress (again, thanks to Jackie last night!) and it's a good thing, since the carpet company called yesterday to say our order had arrived early and was ready to be installed!!! Yikes! We set it up for the 19th, so at least now I have a firm deadline to work towards. I am down to the ceiling and one more coat on the trim in Jack's room, the trim in the hallway, and all of the girls room. Should be a piece of cake....should be, anyway.
Although I really had wanted to paint the girls room a soft shade of green but couldn't settle on one that wasn't "minty" and matched their bedding, I am really excited to see the pink finally on the walls. I really don't have a clue how we are going to manage this, but I am starting to get more and more excited by the day. In our last ultrasound, the technician pointed out what appeared to be a full head of hair on Olivia...we'll see! I am so eager to meet them. I am really eager for Jack to meet them and see how he is going to take to a house full of new people.
We are blessed. Lord knows we are not wealthy, but we are very, very rich...in love and family and isn't that really all that matters anyway??
