So tomorrow is the big day. We leave for Florida. The plan is to drive to Valdosta, GA tomorrow and stay the night which will leave us about a 4-5 hour drive Saturday. So, if all goes well, we should be to my parents just after lunch time Saturday.
I am so excited, but very nervous about this trip. The girls were a lot younger when we drove in November, so it will be interesting to see how they do this trip. I am hoping we will still catch thier afternoon nap and then they should sleep not long after dinner...so the first leg SHOULD go well...but we will see.
Jack is excited, too. Except for the fact that our DVD player in the van went out a few weeks ago, so we borrowed a portable one from a friend to get us through the 15 hours in the car. Yeah!! Just one more thing to add to the list to get fixed when we get back...like the roof, the cieling on the porch and the tile backsplash in the kitchen (no, that is still not done!) Amazing how fast time can get away from you when you throw a couple of more kids in the mix!
Speaking of which, the girls turn 1 year old this month...I can hardly believe it! I really don't know where it has gone. I am sure my mom will have a small "birthday" party while we are there just because she can!
